Definition
Mutual support groups whose members are individuals experiencing an eating disorder such as avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder, anorexia, bulimia, binge-eating, or compulsive overeating disorders. The groups meet in-person, by telephone or via the Internet; and provide an opportunity for participants to share information, relate to shared experiences, and provide tips for healthy daily living and recovery support.
