Permanency Planning for Foster Youth
Eligibility
Youth, age 14 and older who are currently in foster care. Financial assistance is also available to former foster youth who turn 18 years old while in care and court terminated reunification, are adopted or obtains legal custody and guardianship after age 16 and reunification was terminated, or leave the child welfare system after age 16 for a reason other than reunification. Aftercare services are able to assist youth in stability in independent living up until age 23.

Description
The transition to adulthood living program supports youth currently in and exiting the foster care system. Provides academic mentoring, financial planning, career preparation, and some financial support for housing, transportation, and education.
