Generally families must meet at least one of the following criteria: low income, pregnant and under the age of 21, history of child abuse, neglect, or substance abuse, current tobacco use in the home, low parental educational achievement, a child in the home with developmental delays or disability, or a household member who has served in US armed forces.

Description

An evidence based home visitation program providing one on one support for parents of children ages 0-5. Home visiting professionals provide visits and services to families who would like support with parenting, information about child development, connections to community resources, and other parenting educational resources. Home visits are tailored to the needs of the families served and can take place in the family’s home, an office, park, or wherever the family is most comfortable. There is also a home visitation program that is culturally tailored for Native American families ages 0 to 3 years old.
