Eligibility
Client must have proof of address to apply. A household cannot earn more than 50% of the area's median income, as published by HUD. Clients must pay at least 30% of their gross adjusted income, but no more than 40% of their gross adjusted income, towards rent. Contract rent for the housing unit must be reasonable. The desired housing unit must pass a housing inspection. Current wait list time is 8-18 months.

Application Process
A hard copy application must be completed and submitted in person. Applicant must also schedule an intake appointment. Visit the website, walk in, or call for more information.
Description
Administers the Housing Choice Voucher Program, formerly known as Section 8. Provides monthly long-term rental assistance to eligible households. The Housing Authority does not own any housing. Clients must locate their own approved housing.
