Description:

Develops safe, sanitary, energy efficient housing for low income families and elderly individuals through emergency home repair, weatherization, community and economic development, and planning assistance.

Section 8/Rental Assistance Program Rental Listings
Description:

Administers the Housing Choice Voucher Program, formerly known as Section 8. Provides monthly long-term rental assistance to eligible households. The Housing Authority does not own any housing. Clients must locate their own approved housing.

Eligibility:
A household cannot earn more than 50% of the area's median income, as published by HUD.
Clients must pay at least 30% of their gross adjusted income, but no more than 40% of their gross adjusted income, towards rent.
Contract rent for the housing unit must be reasonable.
The desired housing unit must pass a housing inspection.
