Case/Care Management
Description:

Assists parents in assessing their family's needs, then works with the family to make referrals to get the needs met. Helps provide internet access for finding employment and can also help families apply for social programs.

Parenting Materials
Description:

Center offers a lending library with books, videos, and cassette tapes on a variety of topics relating to family dynamics. Also offers a Speaker's Bureau to any community organization in the county seeking knowledge about the center and/or other pertinent family issues.

Home Based Parenting Education
Description:

Intensive one on one home based education and referral/resource information to families in Box Elder County. Professional home visitors assist parents with a variety of interventions designed to increase the parent's ability to provide a nurturing atmosphere for their children.

Parenting Skills Classes
Description:

Parent education classes are offered on an ongoing basis. Class curriculum includes the Nurturing Program, Becoming a Love and Logic Parent, the Smart Steps Program, and the Strengthening Families Program. Childcare is available for all classes for children under 11.
