The Crisis Nursery is a child abuse prevention program. Parents can bring children in for temporary care when feeling overwhelmed or handling an emergency. Home visits focus on parent-child interaction, development-centered parenting, and family well-being. Parenting classes are also offered.

Description:
Provides child care for respite and crisis situations. Respite care is for scheduled appointments or when parents/caretakers need a break. Crisis care is for parents/caretakers who are in crisis and are unable to attend to children during these times. Children can be brought in only by the parents or legal guardian.
Eligibility:
The parent or caregiver must present the need for services. The children must fall within the ages of birth to 11 years.

M - F 8 am - 6 pm; Crisis Line: 24/7
Intake Procedure:
A parent or caretaker may call the center beforehand to schedule a time to complete paperwork. The paperwork takes approximately 15 to 20 minutes.
