Description:

Respite care for less urgent needs such as therapy and medical appointments, court hearings, and support groups. Parents may also use the respite nursery for a needed break. Limited to 3 hours a week.

Eligibility:

Sa 4 - 8 pm
Intake Procedure:
Can schedule up to one week before for needs besides a basic break. For breaks, call the day before.
Fees:
Suggested $1 donation at each nursery use.

Description:

Provides therapy through play for children and youth.

Eligibility:
Children and youth 18 months to 18 years old whose lives have been affected by child abuse and/or other personal and family issues.
Service Hours:
M - Th 8 am - 6 pm; F 8 am - 5:30 pm

Fees:
Most insurances accepted. Sliding scale fee for individuals who are uninsured or with low-moderate income. Self-pay is $90 per session.

Description:

The class runs for 8 weeks. If childcare is needed during the class, call the Nursery Coordinator in advance to schedule time. In-home parenting classes are also available for those who cannot attend the class at the center. Both parenting courses meet the requirements for court orders.

Description:

Youth Enhancement of Social Skills (YESS) teaches topics on communication, teamwork, expressing emotions, safety, and peer relations. Other children currently enrolled in therapy at an alternative agency will be considered with a referral from their current therapist, however, priority will be given to agency clients.

Eligibility:
Children age 5-11 years old but there can be exceptions. Call for details.

Description:

Provides crisis care to children 0-11 years of age. Due to restrictions, the Crisis Respite Nursery is unable to provide service to children with severe physical, medical, or mental disabilities.

Eligibility:
Children ages 0-11. Crisis Care situations are judged on a case-by-case basis. A crisis situation is usually: a mental health crisis, a family emergency (medical emergency, death in the family), domestic violence, abuse, or any other situation where a child is in danger of experiencing trauma.

24/7

No cost for Crisis Care. Suggested $1 donation at each nursery use.
