A homeless shelter that provides beds for 200 men and women and welcomes pets, It offers homeless diversion programs, Code Blue Emergency Shelter (Disaster Related Shelter Services), and housing search assistance for clients staying at the shelter. Also, the shelter accepts personal/grooming supplies and clothing donations.
Description:

Provides emergency temporary shelter with on-site supportive services tailored to assist those experiencing homelessness, resolve their immediate crisis, and provide rehousing services for stable housing. Services may include a safe, warm place to sleep, housing navigation, employment services, life skills, meals, medical care provided by The Fourth Street Clinic, personal storage, counseling, and connections to long-term community support. Pets are welcome.

Description:

Provides housing case management for clients of the resource center. Case managers assist clients in identifying solutions to homelessness, searching for housing, and obtaining the necessary personal documents to secure housing.

Must be an active client of the Gail Miller Resource Center to receive housing case management services.

Provides additional capacity and relaxed intake requirements for any person needing a place to stay during cold-weather code blue events.

Eligibility:
Must not present a danger to staff or other visitors. Extra beds and modified eligibility are only available on code blue nights.

Description:

The housing navigation program is designed to help clients staying at the center find safe, affordable homes in the community. Housing navigators help clients gather a housing history, understand what type of housing is appropriate for the client's situation, identify and mitigate housing barriers, navigate an array of rental assistance and affordable housing programs, assist with household eligibility, rental applications, and landlord interviews. and by providing home needs, including beds, kitchen items, and food supply.
