Women's Resource Center and Shelter
Provides emergency, temporary shelter for 200 women, while also providing on site supportive services to assist those experiencing homelessness, resolve their immediate crisis, and rapidly return to stable housing. Service and emotional support animals are allowed. Also, provides food production/preparation/delivery volunteer opportunities for people 16 and over and accepts clothing and nonperishable food donations.
Homeless Shelter
Description:

Provides emergency, temporary shelter with on site supportive services tailored to assist those experiencing homelessness, resolve their immediate crisis, and rapidly return to stable housing. Service animals are allowed. Accommodates 200 women, 18 and older.

Eligibility:
Female adults, 18 and older, experiencing homelessness in Salt Lake City; must follow shelter rules.

Homeless Diversion Programs
Description:

Assists unsheltered clients in finding long-term housing solutions.

Disaster Related Shelter Services
Description:

Emergency cold weather beds available as a part of expanded capacity due to Code Blue. Relaxed intake requirements and expedited intake.

Eligibility:
Must not present a danger to staff or other visitors. Extra beds and modified eligibility are only available on code blue nights.

Food Production/Preparation/Delivery Volunteer Opportunities
Description:

Provides opportunities to serve meals for individuals and groups 16 and over at the women's resource center. The center serves approximately 250,000 meals annually.

Eligibility:
Volunteers must be 16 or older.

Food Donation Programs
Description:

Accepts canned and packaged food in original packaging. All food must be unexpired and in good condition with the actual food label intact.

Eligibility:
Nonperishable food items that are not past the expiration date.

Accepts gently used women's clothing that is in good condition.

Cannot accept underwear or clothing in poor condition.
