Homeless Veterans Fellowship

An organization that helps low income veterans stabilize their housing and return to self sufficiency. Services include case management, homelessness prevention programs, rapid re-housing, permanent supportive housing, and transitional housing for veterans who are homeless or imminently at risk of being homeless.
Description:

Provides supportive services with transitional housing for veterans who are homeless. Participants in transitional housing are expected to stay clean and sober while they are in the program and they attend groups and individual sessions to learn new coping/life skills and recovery support. All transitional housing units are in Ogden, Utah, but clients can come from other areas.

Eligibility:
Must have served at least 1 day of active duty and have a discharge other than dishonorable. Serves eligible veterans regardless of criminal background and/or credit issues. Clients typically have a referral from a homeless shelter or the VA.

Description:

Case management services for homeless veterans that includes building skills to return to self-sufficiency. Services include budgeting, job search support, vocational rehabilitation, housing navigation, and heath care navigation.

Eligibility:
Must have served at least 1 day of active duty and have a discharge other than dishonorable. Income below 80% AMI. Case management services are for veterans participating in one of the housing programs.
