A housing authority that provides low income/subsidized rental housing and rent payment assistance to eligible Salt Lake City residents. Also, provides a rapid re-housing program to eligible Salt Lake City and Salt Lake County residents.
Description:

A federally funded Special Purpose Government Agency that provides affordable housing to lower-income families located in Salt Lake City. The agency owns and manages 1,600 units of subsidized housing, and another 545 units are financed through tax credits. The Section 8 vouchers help 2,800 households obtain affordable private-market housing.

Must be a resident of Salt Lake County.
Household must have at least one child under the age of 18 or be pregnant in the 3rd trimester.
The household members 18 and over must be physically and mentally capable of working. Household income must be at or below 200% of the federal poverty level.
