Neuter/Spay Services
Description:

Provides sterilization surgeries to pets for low income individuals or owners of rabbits.

Eligibility:
Pets that are at least 4 months old. For discounted services, the applicant must be at least 18 and currently be receiving Medicaid, SNAP, SSDI, VA Disability, Section 8, or HEAT.
Service Hours:
M - F 9 - 11:45 am & 1 - 5:45 pm; Sa 9 - 11:45 am & 1 - 3:45 pm
Intake Procedure:
Call or visit the website to make an appointment for full priced service. For SNIP, email the required documents to apply.
Fees:
$150-300, discounted fees for those with low income through the SNIP program.

Animal Shelters
Description:

Provides shelter to surrendered pets that can no longer be cared for or are unwanted. Provides behavioral training and a private rehousing system as alternatives to surrender.

Eligibility:
Must be the pet's legal owner. Does not accept reptiles, fish, mice, or exotic animals.
Service Hours:
Su - Sa 11 am - 6 pm
Intake Procedure:
Schedule an admissions appointment online or call for more information.
Fees:
$100 for dogs and cats, $30 for rabbits and other small mammals.

Court Ordered Community Service Sites
Description:

Accepts court ordered volunteers to help with events, animal care, and general office tasks.

Eligibility:
Must be 16 or older. Does not allow individuals with charges that are violent, sexual, or animal related.

Animal Rights Groups
Description:

Provides advocacy for animal rights and welfare as well as sterilization surgeries to reduce the number of homeless animals.

Well Animal Checkups
Description:

Offers a variety of vaccinations for dogs, cats, and rabbits. Also performs microchip implants, canine heartworm tests, and general veterinary checkups.

Eligibility:
Cats must be in carriers and dogs must be on leashes.

Intake Procedure:
Walk in. Call to schedule an appointment for rabbit vaccinations or for a veterinary checkup.

Animal Euthanasia Services
Description:

Euthanasia services for pets with cremation services. Two family members can be present during the process. For discounted fees, no family members can be present.

Eligibility:
Will not euthanize any healthy or treatable pet. Will not euthanize a dangerous animal or an animal that has bitten within the past 10 days.

Animal Adoption
Description:

Provides a directory of animals that can be adopted.

Eligibility:
Must be 18 or older. Do not bring other pets when doing the meet and greet.
Service Hours:
Su - F 11 am - 7 pm; Sa 10 am - 7 pm

Visit website to see available pets. Walk in for adoption information and to set up a meet and greet.
Fees:
Vary based on age, breed, and animal type. Discounts available for seniors and veterans.

Veterinary Care Expense Assistance
Description:

Provides limited funding to help individuals or families keep their pets in times of hardship. Can only offer assistance through the facility directly and cannot offset costs of services at other vets.
