A comprehensive mental health institute that incorporates an adult psychiatric hospital, a children's/adolescent psychiatric hospital, and substance use disorder treatment services. The institute offers general counseling services, detoxification, substance use disorder counseling, comprehensive outpatient substance use disorder treatment, psychiatric emergency room care, a suicide prevention hotline, general crisis intervention hotline, a warm line, a mental health crisis line, and in person crisis intervention. It serves all of Utah and parts of the Intermountain West.

Description:

Comprehensive Outpatient Substance Use Disorder Treatment
Description:

General Outpatient for addiction recovery program for adults. The program is designed to offer intensive structure and support for those dealing with issues related to substance use disorders. The IOP sessions meet four nights per week for eight weeks. The sessions focus on relapse prevention, mindfulness, and developing coping skills.

Adult Psychiatric Hospitals
Description:

Provides inpatient treatment for adults facing an acute mental health crisis or struggling with substance abuse issues who are unable to remain safe in a less restrictive environment. Patients are monitored for safety and diagnosis clarification. A clinician creates a treatment plan and medication schedule for the patient.

Children's/Adolescent Psychiatric Hospitals
Description:

Provides inpatient treatment for children and adolescents facing an acute mental health crisis who are unable to remain safe in a less restrictive environment. Patients are monitored for safety and diagnosis clarification. A clinician creates a treatment plan and medication schedule for the patient. The hospital has a Child Unit (5 - 11) and an Adolescent Unit (12 - 18).

Substance Use Disorder Counseling
Description:

Provides counseling services for adults struggling with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues. The treatment approach uses a combination of medication management and therapy to help the client recover.

Child/Adolescent Residential Treatment Facilities
Description:

The Youth Residential Treatment (YRT) program provides a secure, live-in facility licensed to provide affirming mental and behavioral care to struggling adolescent females or those identifying as adolescent females. Each teen’s treatment is individualized and unique to their presenting problems. A typical stay is five to eight weeks.

Description:

Psychiatric Day Treatment
Description:

Day Programs for children (Kidstar 5-12) & teens (Teenscope 12-18). Offers full day mental health care. Patients come during they day to attend therapy, groups, and family therapy if desired & they return home at the end of treatment.
