The program ensures that participants pursue personal recovery goals including employment, education, decreasing isolation at home, social skill development, and basic living skills. Services to help clients achieve these goals include case/care management, job-finding assistance, social skills training, and independent living skills instruction.
Description:

Provides case management services to clients enrolled in the Journey House program. Case managers ensure that the client receives the services that best fit their needs and they are making progress in meeting their personal recovery goals.

Eligibility:
-Davis County residents 18 and over experiencing a serious and persistent mental illness that includes depression, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, major personality disorder, etc.

Provides social skills training to Journey House clients. The program helps clients develop politeness, cooperation, negotiation, problem-solving, sharing, sportsmanship, eye contact, appropriate language use, etc.
