Description:

Description:

Provides funding to make essential repairs to the home in order to eliminate health or safety hazards or improve security. Program covers major repairs, system upgrades, and replacements (roofing, plumbing, heating or electrical systems. Also broken/inefficient windows) but not minor repairs.

Eligibility:
Live in northern Utah, own the land and dwelling unit, occupy the unit as the primary residence, earn less than 80% of the county AMI as published by HUD, and ensure all taxes and insurance are current.

Description:

A sweat equity program that allows participant to build approximately 65% of the home. There is no down payment required, and the applicant chooses the floor plan and colors. No prior construction experience is required, and the normal construction timeline is 8 to 12 months for completion. The final house payment amount is based on income and household size.
