Spanish only support for parents of young children based in the Attachment Theory. Parents learn skills to provide security, protection and emotional support through parenting classes, support groups for moms, and parent mentoring.
Parenting Skills Classes
Description:

Spanish speaking parents with children 0 - 5 years old meet virtually once a week to discuss attachment, parenting, and child development.

Eligibility:
Spanish speaking parents with children 0 - 5 years old. Can join class virtually from any county in Utah.
Service Hours:
W 12 pm - 1 pm

Parent Support Groups
Description:

Spanish virtual support group provides mothers an opportunity to share personal experiences and feelings, coping strategies, or firsthand information about parenting and their challenges. Also offer Perinatal Grief Support Group in Spanish every first Saturday 10-11 AM online.

Eligibility:
Spanish speaking mothers of children 0 - 5 years old. Can join from any county in Utah.

Sat 10 am - 11 am Every (3rd)

Home Based Parenting Education
Description:

Spanish parent mentoring which offers friendship, guidance, encouragement, and support. Attempts to address in a very personal and supportive way the problems and issues of everyday living and the challenges of parenting young children.

Eligibility:
Spanish speaking parents of children 0 - 5 years old. Only available in Utah and Salt Lake Counties.
Service Hours:
M - F 9 am - 6 pm
