Provides programs that support families and improves the educational outcomes of students living in Salt Lake City’s westside neighborhoods. Programs include adolescent English as a second language instruction and comprehensive immigration/naturalization services. Also, provides scholarships to immigrant students and a seasonal VITA Tax Clinic.
Description:

Provides comprehensive naturalization services including information, legal counseling, application completion, and filing assistance. Also offers the PATH program in partnership with the SLC Mayors office to provide financial assistance to those seeking naturalization.

Eligibility:
Individuals seeking assistance with immigration law.

Description:

Offers an intensive summer English program supplementing public education for youth in grades 7 - 11. The summer program runs three hours daily for six weeks.

Description:

The Perseverar Scholarship Program is a service-driven scholarship program for highly motivated students currently living in the Salt Lake area. Recipients of the scholarship will be required to volunteer with the No More a Stranger Foundation for 10 hours per semester.

Eligibility:
Must be a student who is accepted or currently attending a public college or university, in good standing, and making satisfactory academic progress.
