The library resource corner serves as a homeless drop in center and is located only at the downtown main library. Library social workers provides light case management services to people experiencing homelessness and distributes food, clothing, and hygiene products.
Description:

The library homeless drop in center is located only at the downtown main library. Library social workers provides light case management services to people experiencing homelessness and distributes food, clothing, and hygiene products. Case management includes coordinating homeless services with community partners, enrolling homeless people in benefits and housing programs, coordinating medical care and employment assistance services, and providing transportation to hospitals, Volunteers of America's Detoxification Center, and domestic violence shelters in Salt Lake County.

M - F 10 am - 5 pm
Intake Procedure:
Walk in during normal hours or call to schedule an appointment. The homeless outreach team has a desk on the library's first floor.
