The Victim/Witness Program strives to reduce the trauma of a crime by assisting crime victims, witnesses, and significant others in rebuilding their lives. Works with taxpayers from various situations on tax abatements including veterans, low income, blind, circuit breaker, and tax exempt properties. Circuit Breaker includes renter refund, and homeowner low income abatement.

Must be 65 by December 31st of the year previous to their application or a widowed person (surviving spouse) of any age, not be claimed as a dependent on someone's tax return, have lived in Utah the entire year, and meet income qualifications.
