Description:

Skilled staff, and an online directory of training materials, educate clients on assistive device use, care, and maintenance. Also assesses the client's home and work environments for maximum device use success, and provides educational materials on using adaptive technology, websites, and more.

Description:

Provides assistive technology loans, small grants, and small business loans to Utahns with disabilities, with the organization subsidizing half of the loan interest payments. Low interest loans help purchase technology items including adapted vans, wheelchairs, scooters, hearing aids, braille equipment, lifts, elevators, adaptive computer accessories and software, and alternative communication devices (iPads).

Eligibility:
Approval is based on credit score, debts, and income. Grants require applicants to be at or below 150% of the federal poverty line.

Description:

Provides donated and refurbished assistive technology devices such as wheelchairs, power scooters, canes, and grabbers for discounted fees. Also, provides mobility evaluations by a licensed occupational therapist and can customize or repair the device to fit the individual's needs.

Vary by device, ranges from $35-150 for manual devices, and $250-580 for powered devices.
