Services offered include assistive technology information, assistive technology loans, a donation drop off point for preowned assistive technology equipment, assistive technology expense assistance, assistive technology equipment custom design/fabrication, and automobile/van adaptations.

Description:

Loans assistive technology devices to clients for a short-term need, like an injury or recovery after surgery. Also people can check out assistive technology from the demonstration libraries, so they can be sure it will fill their needs before they make a purchase. Items include knee scooters, manual wheelchairs, motorized scooters, power wheelchairs and aids to daily living.

Description:

Provides assistive technology loans, small grants, and small business loans to Utahns with disabilities. Low interest loans help purchase technology items including adapted vans, wheelchairs, scooters, hearing aids, braille equipment, lifts, elevators, adaptive computer accessories and software, and alternative communication devices (iPads).

Description:

Program offers low cost customization services to people when devices off-the-shelf are not affordable, not practical, or not the right fit. UATP can bridge the gap between an existing device and a need, or build a device from the ground up.
