Description:

Provides a summer camp experience for children and teens with bleeding disorders. Includes outdoor adventures, creative activities, and community-building. Participants also learn more about their disorders and learn self-infusion techniques and self-advocacy skills. Medical staff is also on-site to attend to any specific health needs of participants.

Eligibility:
Children age 8 - 14 who have hemophilia, von Willebrand disease, or are gene carriers of these disorders, are siblings of a child with one of these disorders, or is a child of an affected parent age 10-14.

Provides diverse forms of financial assistance to help individuals facing financial hardship due to a bleeding disorder. Offers medical care expense assistance through the lifeline program, as well as one-time emergency assistance for general living expenses and prescription costs.

Eligibility:
Individuals who are US Citizens or permanent residents, have residency in Utah for at least 12 months, and are diagnosed with a bleeding disorder. Program is for households who pay over 7.5% of the adjusted gross income on insurance and medical expenses.
