A federally funded housing assistance program for homeowners in Utah who have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic after January 21, 2020. Program can provide aid for housing-related costs such as mortgage and property charges, taxes, insurance premiums, condominium fees, planned unit development fees, and HOA fees. Application/Referral Process
Take the 'Pre-screening questionnaire' online to start eligibility inquiry. Complete the online application, fill out and sign the Third Party Authorization (TPA) and Disclosure Form, provide a qualifying hardship attestation and supporting documentation from homeowner that certifies and identifies the financial hardship associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, that it occurred after January 21, 2020. Must provide contact information, including phone number and email, as well as account (mortgage, property tax, homeowners insurance) if that information is not clear on the provided documents. 20-30 day estimated funding for eligible applicants; may contact CDCU for status inquiries.
