Utah Independent Living Center - Tooele

A nonprofit, non-residential agency that assists persons with disabilities to achieve greater independence by providing services and activities that enhance independent living skills. It promotes understanding, accommodation, and acceptance of disability rights, needs through public awareness efforts. Serves as a center for independent living providing advocacy, independent living skills instruction for people of all ages, a nursing home transition financing program, specialized information and referral, assistive technology equipment loan, life skills education for youth, general recreational activities/sports, and peer counseling.
