Description:

Workshops are held once a week for 7 weeks, dinner and child care are provided. Provides kids class for ages 6-11 and teen classes for adolescence age 12-18, families eat dinner together then split into classes according to age. Classes held at Mountainland Head Start.

Description:

Provides nutrition education to low-income individuals and families eligible for SNAP benefits. This is done through classes taught by trained CBH Ambassadors. Create Better Health classes aim to increase each participant’s knowledge of nutrition, cooking, food safety, budgeting, and physical activity, as well as helping Utahns find access to safe and nutritious food.
