Valley Behavioral Health Counseling Centers

Various offices throughout Salt Lake and Tooele counties provide a variety of counseling services to individuals in need. Counseling specialties include marriage/couples counseling, parental counseling, and counseling for sexual assault or intimate partner abuse. Also provides substance use related services including residential treatment facilities, counseling, crisis intervention, DUI offender programs, and drug/alcohol testing. Provides case management services and psychiatric medication management alongside other services.
Description:

Provides a variety of residential programs for people experiencing substance abuse or co-occurring disorders. The programs are developed to help individuals improve their readiness to reintegrate into everyday life.

Eligibility:
Adults 18 and over with substance abuse or co-occurring behavioral health issue. Must be enrolled in Medicaid.

Description:

Provides case management service from start to finish of a client's treatment. Case managers cultivate a relationship with each client to understand the client's challenges, circumstances, and goals. This allows the case manager to recommend personalized care based on the client's clinical needs. Throughout treatment, the case manager supervises the client's progress and facilitates communication between the client, the client's family, and care professionals. Provides emotional support, problem-solving assistance, and guidance for one or both married or cohabiting partners who are experiencing relationship problems. Description:

Crisis intervention that supports those challenged with mental illness, substance abuse, domestic violence, and/or co-occurring disorders. Developed to help individuals obtain services designed to improve their readiness to reintegrate into community life and decrease future involvement in the criminal justice system. Provides a recovery program for people who have been convicted by law enforcement of driving while under the influence. The program will help the client satisfy the treatment mandated by the court. Provided at all Valley Behavioral Health locations.
