Provides s a homelike, child-friendly facility where children who have been victims of abuse or other crimes can begin the road to healing through child abuse counseling, child abuse medical evaluations, child abuse reporting, and through working with child protective services.
Application/Referral Process
If there is a suspected case of child abuse, Division of Child and Family Services must be contacted first. The DCFS caseworker assigned to the family will then meet with the family at the Children's Justice Center for abuse investigation and all other services.
