Eligibility
COVID-19 UPDATE: Must have a combined gross income at or below 100% AMI and have experienced a documented COVID-19 loss of income or financial hardship. Funds can be used for the following expenses incurred from March 1, 2020 - December 30, 2020: Rent, Utilities (water, sewer, electrical, gas) Security Deposits, arrears (payments made for housing assistance over 30 days past due) is allowable for those that didn't receive an unemployment benefit for the months seeking arrearages, late fees.

Service Description

Proof of employment, signed rental agreement, proof of identity (photo) for each adult, social security card for each household member, budgeting class certificate
Application/Referral Process
Call or go online. Rental Assistance (rent and utilities) will be $2000 or less per month. Applicants must reapply monthly. No limit to how many times an applicant can be approved within the window of time the program operates. Rent payments must go directly to the landlord, and utility assistance must go directly to the utility companies.

Housing authority assisting families and individuals in seeking and obtaining affordable, decent, safe, and sanitary housing in Weber County. Strives to promote personal, economic, and social upward mobility to provide participants the opportunity to make the transition from subsidized to non-subsidized housing. Includes home rehabilitation loans and down payment loans and grants.
