Coordinates the disaster relief efforts of the local health departments and acts as a liaison between the state and federal government, hospitals and Medical Reserve Corps volunteers. Provides direct emergency services to local health departments, hospitals, and EMS providers. Also provides key disaster information to the public and helps community members stay informed and prepared for major incidents.
