Eligibility
Volunteers in Senior Companions must be age 55 or older, have income below $1916/month (single) or $2586/month (couple), and pass a physical and criminal background check. Senior Companions receive a tax exempt stipend of $2.65/ hour, mileage reimbursement of $.35/mile, and meal reimbursement of $2/meal.

Description
Seeking Senior Companionship volunteers to serve as companions to home-bound seniors by providing companionship, and errand assistance to grocery shopping, doctor appointments, pharmacy, etc. Companions receive a small stipend for their services.
